The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

All of my memories of Penn State are now influenced by how much the five-year Architectural Engineering program has enriched my career and by how often I encounter Penn Staters. I continue to work for the A/E firm that hired me out of school (with a short two-year stint as a Facility Manager with Lockheed). My wife and I have lived in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, and for the last 13 years in Raleigh, NC. I started my career in design working into construction program management for large corporate, education, and public clients. I've recently been promoted to Vice President of Raleigh Program Management for Heery International. My wife obtained a late-in-life bachelor's degree in Natural Resources/Wetland Sciences from NC State in 2000. We are enjoying the challenges of managing both the built and natural environment (great dinner table conversations), particularly since I became a LEED Accredited Professional. Our son is now pursuing mechanical engineering/motorsports at UNC-Charlotte. Everywhere we've lived, we constantly meet other Penn Staters and many other non-Penn State colleagues admit to knowing several Penn Staters. I am proud to bleed blue and white.
